Mike,
It is always so nice to see them fill the field of view. Good sketching capture of the pair.
Frank 🙂
Great choice of an instrument for the wide-field view and excellent rendition of this magnificent binary cluster at low power. I particularly commend the stars rendered with different brightness instead of relying entirely on the size convention. Drawing digitally at the telescope is the way of the future. (I have so far been able only to re-draw or to finish digitally later.)
Thank you for the kind words Frank and Ivan. It was quite intimidating looking into the eyepiece and seeing all those stars but I had to give it a try. Thanks again, Mike.
Hello Mike,
these both open clusters are the jewels in the night sky. Your sketch is very impressive. I love this, one of the most beatiful, fiew.
Real great!!!
