NOTES: Prominent central star surrounded by slightly oval area of nebulosity. The nebula appears to fade slightly towards the star but this may just be a contrast effect.
Great sketch showing a star, trough the other, that died, telling us what will happen to other, that doesn’t seem to care.

NGC 40 is not correctly called the Bow Tie Nebula. That name refers to NGC 2440 in Centaurus.
It doesn’t even look like a bow tie in photographs.
Other than that, the drawing is excellent.
