Sorry, but I do not see any cluster here…
I cannot check by myself, because I am in north hemisphere.
NGC2516 is called the “southern behive cluster” !
For having observed M44 with binoculars x 18 two days ago, I can tell you that I could count easily about 30 stars.
Moreover, the brightest star in this cluster is a red one (class M0II).
Why did you draw a blue star ?
Did’nt you make some confusion between your sketches and comments ?
