This series of Martian sketches was prepared by W. W. Campbell in 1892. They were printed the article, “The Lowell Observatory, In Arizona,” by Edward S. Holden in The Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, Volume VI, 1894, pages 160-170 at Google Books.
These late 19th century drawings of Mars are fascinating to scrutinize.
